What To Wear With Coloured Jewellery

“I need a new look” staring at my brunette mane in the mirror one morning, I said it out loud to myself. So a few days ago I booked a haircut. “Short & blonde” I decided. Doesn’t the thought of change instantly spruce you up? Does for me. Excitedly I check in to the salon on the day of my appointment for the makeover. Chit chat with the hair dresser, chop chop, colour in hair, crackles of multiplied folded foils later I comfy myself, scoop up the current fashion mag and wait for my hair to go fun blonde.

I come across this nifty little colour reference book tucked into the August In Style issue. I love colour; to me colour is the spice of life and so I interestedly flipped through. I often find bountiful style trends & tips on clothing. How to, what to…but not a lot on accessories, specifically Jewellery.

As I skim through the umpteen Fall 2015 colours and what to wear with them, I embraced some as utterly wearable. Not in clothing separates but in jewellery. That’s right, have fun with colour, your trinkets needn’t always be in metallics or bling. Opting for colour and texture is not only fun, but a creative way of giving personality to your clothes.

Here’s my pick of 4 fall inspired accessory colours to embellish your wardrobe with. Fashion Week runways flaunted these colours in myriad creations this season.
